Rescheduling Policy / Liability Waiver
Your support directly funds habitat protection and restoration in Florida's Ocala to Osceola (O2O) Wildlife Corridor. We prioritize rescheduling over refunds to keep your commitment active in this work. This policy applies once your stay is confirmed and the required donation is processed via Zeffy.

More than 60 days before arrival: Full rescheduling to a new date (subject to availability) or full refund (less any bank processing fees if applicable).

30–60 days before arrival: Priority rescheduling to a future stay (valid for 12 months, subject to availability) or 50% refund.

Less than 30 days before arrival: Rescheduling only (to the next available spot within 12 months; no refund).

Requests must be in writing (email to ecohabs4earth@gmail.com).

If EcoHabs for Earth must cancel (e.g., weather, property issues, conservation priorities), full rescheduling priority or refund/credit.

No-shows or early departures: no refund, credit, or rescheduling.

Agreement: Completing the Zeffy payment confirms acceptance of this policy.
Hold Harmless and Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to stay at the Island Nature Sanctuary Homestead as part of the Donor Vacation Perk, I (and on behalf of all members of my party, including minors) agree as follows:
I understand that the stay involves inherent risks associated with tropical, off-grid, and natural island environments, including but not limited to uneven terrain, water activities (pool, canal, lagoon, kayaks, paddleboards), wildlife, weather conditions, insects, solar/electrical systems, and general property use. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool or canal, and all posted pool rules must be followed. These risks may result in injury, illness, property damage, or death.

I voluntarily assume all such risks and agree to RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE EcoHabs for Earth, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, expense, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me or my party during or as a result of the stay, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

I further agree to INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties from ANY CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, COSTS, OR EXPENSES (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) brought by or on behalf of myself, my party, or any third party arising from my use of the property or participation in the perk.
I confirm that I have read this agreement carefully and fully understand and agree to its terms.
